What requirements must be met? What are the limits of patent protection\, and when do other intellectual property rights offer a better alternative? The event is jointly organised by the Chemnitz Patent Information Centre and the C:Hub of the Centre for Knowledge and Technology Transfer at Chemnitz University of Technology.\nExperts in the fields of patent law and innovation protection provide practical guidance on the legal foundations for protecting computer-implemented inventions and AI-based innovations. The focus is on the patentability of software-based solutions\, the distinction from other industrial property rights\, and the development of a suitable intellectual property strategy – from the initial idea through to filing and commercialisation.
