DESCRIPTION:&bdquo\;Get a KIC(K) out of the European Union &ndash\; finance tools for SMEs and Startups&ldquo\;\nBIO.NRW in cooperation with EIT Health organises and invites you to its 4th Business Angel Congress under the auspices of funding with the EUs finance support activities- it addresses thereby tools for the founder but also for representatives from Startups and SMEs.\nBusiness Angels and private investors have taken a more and more important role in the early funding of innovation in life sciences\, substituting some of the VC part. Also\, the impact of private money in addition to public funds has gained momentum over the past years and forms an essential supplement to the EU investment activities.\nNew additional programmes in Horizon 2020 have attracted major attention\, including PPP (public private partnerships) but even more the new European Institute of Innovation &amp\; Technology (eit) Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) the EIT Health addressing healthy ageing.\nThe 4th Business Angel Congress will shed light on all the current ongoing\, and the actions to come within short.\nThese activities will give a lot of additional and substantial opportunities to founders\, Startups\, spin- offs and SMEs in a somewhat dried up EU and national scenery. So\, be prepared for cross-border finance options and challenges.
