DESCRIPTION:Biotech Startup Day is a one-day event during BioPharm America&trade\; that presents a powerful opportunity for entrepreneurs to pitch their startups to Boston's leading financiers\, pharma dealmakers and biotech business KOLs. This special program is specifically designed for early stage projects and young companies to get on the radar of the global life science community and to make the connections that matter.\nThe program will include networking and workshops designed to outfit participating startups with tools for success in partnering\, networking\, operations and attracting funding. There will also be a startup pitch competition held in front of a judging panel\, providing a platform for assessment of the quality of pitches and feedback on improving effectiveness. Applications to participate in the pitch competition can be submitted by academic technology transfer or commercialization groups presenting their best technology for licensing\, as well as startup companies created in the past two years.
