The Bio City Campus is home to numerous research institutes and companies. But what exactly do our neighbours do? What is being worked on or researched in the building next door?
We cordially invite you to live the BioCity Campus idea with us and to strengthen our local network. At the upcoming Life Science Stammtisch, we are putting the ICCAS – INNOVATION CENTER COMPUTER ASSISTED SURGERY – in the spotlight. Our hosts and neighbours this time, the SIKT (Sächsischer Inkubator für Klinische Translation), who together with the ICCAS occupy the former women's clinic, will enrich us with exciting specialist presentations. Join us and be inspired!
The Innovation Centre Computer Assisted Surgery - ICCAS - is a pioneer in the development of computer-assisted, integrative technologies and intelligent assistance systems in medicine. It is the interface between clinical requirements and the economic realisation of innovative medical products. Its main objective is to improve therapy methods and work processes to increase patient safety and economically relevant technology.
Für our regulars' table we meet at 16:30 in the SIKT seminar room, entrance at Philipp-Rosenthal-Str. 55, on the ground floor.
Agenda:
Various ICCAS employees will guide you through the innovative world of computer-assisted surgery.
Dr Franke sheds light on the virtual twin of cellular immunotherapy for personalised cancer treatment.
Mrs König introduces the ICCAS and provides exciting insights into current projects and research priorities.
