Training: Intercultural Competence: Successful Collaboration with International Teams and Partners

In a globalised workplace, language skills alone are often not enough. When familiar communication strategies fall flat or the other person’s behaviour seems puzzling, this is usually down to unconscious cultural influences. In this practical training course, we’ll help you sharpen your ‘intercultural perspective’. We’ll show you how to spot misunderstandings early on and turn them into opportunities for better collaboration. You’ll learn not only to understand cultural differences, but also to actively use them as a bridge for successful cooperation and building lasting trust.

• Culture & Perception: How values shape our view of the world and how we work together.
• Cultural dimensions under the microscope: Practical insights into different types of communication, understanding of hierarchy and decision-making processes.
• German work culture in an international comparison: the view from the outside
• Putting it into practice: Analysis of critical incidents and the development of individual solutions for your day-to-day work.

Bring along your own questions and experiences from your day-to-day work. We’ll analyse these directly to come up with solutions you can apply straight away.
