Sensor and measurement technology are among the drivers of innovation in all areas of application that deal with the structures and processes of life. These include, for example, precision diagnostics, personalised treatment of serious illnesses and AI-supported interactive mechatronic systems during operations or in patient care. Continuous quality monitoring, data integrity and preventive maintenance in production and logistics are important success factors.

Continuous innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration open up major competitive advantages, especially in an industrial environment threatened by cost pressure and a shortage of skilled labour. In addition to the development of a common technical language and interactive exchange, the integration of new technologies into real-life applications serves as a decisive impetus for diversification. They create significant added value in the future market of healthcare - including the associated production and testing technologies.

The Call for Papers invites experts from research and industry to present their latest findings and experiences for various applications.
