BioSquare Leipzig secures Dräger and other companies as tenants

The BioSquare technology campus continues to expand on the site of the Alte Messe in Leipzig. Two further companies – the medical technology firm Dräger and PBM GR.UP, an engineering firm specialising in pharmaceuticals and life sciences – have leased space there. Both plan to move in during spring 2027.

From April, Dräger will occupy around 1,100 square metres for offices, training facilities and technical installations. PBM GR.UP is relocating its headquarters from Leipzig city centre to the campus and will move into around 1,500 square metres in May. The company specialises in the design of production facilities, laboratories and cleanrooms, and has already been involved in the development of space for other tenants at BioSquare. The campus, developed by OFB, consists of two buildings. Building A, which covers around 10,000 square metres, is fully let to the biotechnology company c-LEcta. The company operates the Kerry Biotechnology Centre Leipzig there. Building B offers a further 7,500 square metres of lettable space for offices, laboratories and medical facilities. These new lettings further consolidate the life sciences cluster at the Alte Messe. The Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology, as well as institutions of the Max Planck Society, are among those operating in the immediate vicinity. The site thus combines biotechnology research, industrial development and specialised services. Additional space is being created for companies in the sector in the immediate vicinity of scientific institutions and potential collaboration partners.
