BKK Linde covers the costs of gentle cycle diagnostics

(lifePR) (Wiesbaden, 14.02.2024)       Anyone insured with BKK Linde who wish to have children can look forward to another additional service outside of standard care and can now take advantage of the OvulaRing method as part of a care contract. This is an exact and natural cycle diagnosis that in many cases helps to avoid the stressful treatment in fertility centres. If the doctor and the insured person register for the programme, BKK Linde will cover the costs of OvulaRing diagnostics for one year.

This OvulaRing method is available to women who wish to have children via a selective contract between BKK Linde and the Leipzig-based medtech company VivoSensMedical. The OvulaRing is a certified medical device. Through the precise, continuous measurement of the core body temperature, it creates a so-called cyclofertilogram (CFG) - an exact image of the female cycle. The OvulaRing records all individual deviations from the theoretical course of the cycle and records them digitally. The OvulaRing is hormone-free and non-detectable.

OvulaRing determines the individual probability of conception


An algorithm uses the data to determine the individual CFG score and therefore also the time of the individual probability of conception. With its help, the doctor can recognise the patient's cycle and fertility health via telemedicine in order to initiate an individual therapy.
