New software app Harmody alleviates tinnitus

Tinnitus is undoubtedly one of the most widespread diseases. In Germany, around four per cent of the population suffer chronically from the disturbing noise, and around 60 per cent of those affected are severely impaired in their everyday quality of life as a result. Sleep and concentration disorders are among the main effects of tinnitus. This is where Harmody comes in and can help those affected to achieve significant relief in their everyday lives.

The Harmody APP functions as a classic music player into which almost any music can be integrated. Thanks to the patented algorithm, Harmody adapts the respective tinnitus tone to the tonality of the music. This means that the disturbing sound is played directly around the music and disappears for the user. The use of Harmody is very simple. The affected user simply tunes the sound finder integrated in the app to their own tinnitus tone and can play the music directly. The sound quality is then automatically adjusted to the tinnitus tone in real time in the best possible way.

Successful ENT patient tests have shown that using Harmody for 15 minutes has an immediate effect in most cases and that the relief lasts for some time. Test subjects were able to significantly minimise their sleep and concentration disturbances. The development of the APP with all its functions was carried out closely with those affected throughout the entire development period.

The APP Harmody is available for iOS in the Apple APP Store and for Android in the Google Play Store. A trial version with 60 minutes of use and a small music library is free of charge. Harmody can be used in full in the monthly subscription model from 27.79 euros per month with unlimited usage time or as a time model in minute packages from 0.43 euros per hour.
