AI solutions at the edge - a systematic performance evaluation

For many industrial AI applications, data analysis in the cloud is not an option today. Edge devices are particularly in demand for recording and analysing vibrations on machines due to the high sampling rates of sensor data acquisition. But which hardware offers the right performance and the lowest costs for a specific AI application? The webinar will present edge devices currently available on the market and discuss their special features. Using application examples, approaches for a systematic performance evaluation will be explained and possibilities for adapting AI models to the specifics of the hardware architecture and thus minimising energy and cost requirements will be presented.
