Refresher training operator qualification plant safety of biogas plants according to TRGS 529 and TRAS 120 *

The one-day refresher training course "Operator qualification - plant safety of biogas plants" according to the nationwide concept of the Biogas Training Association takes into account, among other things, the requirements of TRGS 529 and TRAS 120.

We pay particular attention to the safe operation of biogas plants and focus in particular on the current regulations in the areas of legal framework, safety and documentation.

Block 1 - Theoretical part

• Current legal developments Changes to the BImschG and ArbSchG, GefStoffV, BetrSichV and BioStoffV, changes to the WHG, AwSV
• Basics and current developments on TRGS 529 e.g: Risk assessment, technical and organisational protective measures, personal protective equipment, technical requirements for employers and employees, occupational medical and safety-related care, occupational medical prevention, explosion and fire protection, first aid and emergency measures
• Basics and current developments regarding TRAS 120 e.g: Current developments in the state of the art and the state of safety technology: safety-related monitoring and maintenance, training and instruction of employees, basics of systematic hazard analysis and safety management
• Short presentation of work aids, information sheets, etc. Working aids and leaflets from the Biogas Association, DGUV regulations, VdS guideline paper, working aids, documents, etc. from the employers' liability insurance associations

Block 2 - From practice for practice

In the workshop, topics such as cases of damage and maintenance will be discussed. There will be plenty of space to discuss your own topics and questions from operational practice.

Participants will receive a certificate from the Biogas Training Association confirming that they have acquired knowledge and proof of knowledge (multiple-choice test).
