Implement digitalisation projects with the help of AI on local edge devices within your company

Thanks to the possibilities of AI, manufacturing companies, for example, can minimise investment risks with regard to wear and tear on critical plant technology and downtimes, guarantee process stability and functional reliability and at the same time reduce their energy consumption and costs. Many companies do not analyse the data from the AI application in the cloud due to data protection requirements, the speed of data processing and the costs involved. Due to high sampling rates in sensor data acquisition, edge devices in which real-time analyses and AI models are installed directly in the end devices are particularly in demand for recording and analysing vibrations on machines.

But which hardware offers the right performance at the lowest cost for a specific AI application? This is precisely the question addressed in the workshop »Which hardware is right for my AI? – Insights into the systematic performance evaluation of edge devices«.

On 16 April at 4 pm, we cordially invite you to join our experts from the Application and Test Centre to discuss how digitalisation projects can also be implemented within your company with the help of AI on local edge devices. Learn more about a method developed by Fraunhofer IIS in Dresden for evaluating the performance and resource requirements of different hardware-AI combinations and experience a wide range of hardware-AI combinations live in our Edge AI lab. Discuss your current challenges regarding the development of your own hardware-AI combination and get closer insights into solution approaches and their advantages and disadvantages.
