However, utility models and non-technical property rights such as trade marks or design protection rights are also ideal for protecting your own developments and business areas.
Patents are a global phenomenon. Rising numbers of patent applications, particularly from Asian countries, mean that German companies will have to position themselves more and more strongly in foreign markets, but also domestically against internationally active property right holders. The early establishment of an effective patent strategy is therefore essential for the optimal national and international protection of domestic products and the expansion of a sustainable market position.
