FLEXCELERATE Solutions is revolutionising plant planning in the speciality chemicals and pharmaceuticals industry through the innovative digitalisation of complex planning processes. The company is developing a "Virtual Plant Configurator", which is functionally equivalent to an online configurator for automobiles and enables operators to virtually configure, visualise and evaluate complete process plants before the first investment decision is made.the core competencies lie in the development of a curated module pool of standardised, digital module designs with guaranteed compatibility. These functional virtual plants enable realistic testing of process conditions and parameters even before the first sod is turned. The company relies on open standards and interfaces for modular plant construction and automation in accordance with VDI 2776 and VDI/VDE/NAMUR 2658, supplemented by integrated digital twin models that provide living documentation of the module designs and enable optimisation during operation. The solution addresses the German mechanical and plant engineering sector with a market volume of 354 billion euros, especially the chemical-pharmaceutical industry with annual plant investments of around 9 billion euros. Standardisation and digitalisation significantly increase time and cost efficiency in planning, construction and integration - from months to days for the integration of pre-tested modules.

Technology:
We rely on open, manufacturer-independent standards. To describe our simulations, we use FMI or FMUs to transport our models.
For automation, we use OPC UA for communication and the Module Type Package to describe the variables.
Products / services:
We offer planning services for the implementation of processes in fully automated systems. We also offer modelling of processes and system capabilities to assess feasibility and accompanying online optimisation.

Our integrative approach, new technologies and rethinking of planning set us apart from traditional engineering service providers. The initial assessment step to determine whether existing modules are suitable for a process can save a lot of time and resources.

We finance ourselves through sales from projects and licences for the simulation models created.
